To spread holiday cheer, Mon. Dec. 21st the Hope Lions Club and the Hope Evening Lions Club constructed an assembly line to pack and deliver over 125 Christmas baskets.
The coliseum was full of people, boxes and vehicles as different items were put into boxes and set aside to be delivered. This year, toys were also included in the baskets, which go to less fortunate in the Hempstead County area.
The Leo Club at Garrett Memorial is grateful above to all members pitching in and helping make this possible. The proceeds of the annual Lions Club Auction and donations go to the baskets.
