On January 2, 2015, Officers with the Hope Police Department, South Central Drug Task Force, Arkansas Game & Fish, and the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant of the residence located at 204 East Ave D, in Hope.
Upon making entry, Officers located Ira Scott, 55, of Hope, in the living room of the residence. Detectives of Hope Police Department conducted a search of the residence and seized the following: over $7000.00 in U.S. Currency, crack cocaine, digital scales, small amount of marijuana, and a police scanner.
Ira Scott was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where he was charged with two counts of delivery of cocaine, possession with purpose to deliver cocaine, possession of a controlled substance- marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
