A house fire in Liberty Eylau claimed the life of a woman early Monday morning.
Firefighters were dispatched around 7 a.m. to Eylau Loop Road with reports of a woman trapped inside a burning house. According to radio traffic 9-1-1 dispatch stayed on the line with the woman even after she stopped responding.
According to a firefighter on scene they were not able to get the woman out in time. No name or age has been released yet.
Wake Village and Texarkana, Texas Fire Department also assisted Liberty Eylau with the fire.
