All signs are pointing to Huckabee planning on entering the race for president.  He quit hosting his news show on Fox News in January so he could, “openly talk with potential donors and supporters and gauge support.”

Politico reports that Huckabee has already picked senior campaign staff and chosen his daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, to be his campaign manager.

Huckabee became Governor of Arkansas in 1996 when Governor Jim Guy Tucker was convicted of fraud.  Huckabee was elected to governor in 1998 and re-elected in 2002.
