Monday 9:30 p.m. | New Boston Volunteer Fire Department, Bowie County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, LifeNet, and Texas DPS Troopers were on scene of a major accident on I-30 near the 201 mile marker in New Boston.
The cause of the two vehicle accident that left one car badly damaged in the median and the other against the tree line on the westbound shoulder is unknown at this time.
According to Texas DPS spokesperson, Trooper Sylvia Jennings, the initial call from Bowie Dispatch reported a fatality on scene, but there was not a fatality.
The extent of injuries or current condition of those involved is unknown at this time.
