A Fouke, Ark., man pleaded guilty Monday to residential burglary in a case involving the same victim he pleaded guilty to sexually abusing 25 years ago.

Wallace Ret Johnson, 47, was scheduled for jury selection and trial this week in Miller County. Monday morning Johnson pleaded guilty to residential burglary and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

In 1994 Johnson pleaded guilty to sexually abusing the same victim as in the residential burglary case. The victim was 14 in 1994.

Johnson is related to the victim by marriage, according to a probable cause affidavit. Johnson was charged with rape but was allowed to plead guilty to residential burglary to spare the victim the stress and trauma of testifying.
