Friday 9:00 a.m.| A family dispute ended with one person shot and the other in jail Friday morning.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police Department shortly after 9 a.m. this morning they responded to a disturbance call at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Allen Ln. When the officers arrived they discovered 23 year old Deonte Henderson inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. Witnesses at the scene identified the shooter as 25 year old Ray Brown of Texarkana, Arkansas.
The victim was transported to Wadley Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
About an hour after the shooting, Brown turned himself in to officers at the Bi-State Criminal Justice Center. Detectives are still investigating the incident. Brown is expected to be charged with the shooting.
