On Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00pm Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to the 500 block of Cleveland Street in reference to a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived they located the victim, Jacob Lynn, 23yoa W/M, with several deep lacerations on his chest area. Officers on scene determined that an altercation occurred at the residence between Lynn and the suspect, Keith Torrence, ex-boyfriend of Lynn’s mother. During the altercation Torrence attacked Lynn with a knife causing Lynn’s injuries. Lynn was transported to Wadley Hospital where he received medical attention.
Torrence was later arrested and charged with Domestic Battery 2nd degree, a felony crime.
