Police are currently searching for the suspect in a homicide that occurred about 9:30 P.M tonight at Pine Ridge Estates trailer park. A call came in from a hysterical female saying some one had been shot in the head and that the person that had done it had fled the scene.
The victim has not yet been identified.
Nash Police quickly established a permitter and received assistance from Bowie County Sheriff Office, Texas DPS, and TTPD.
Michael Sutton, Public Information Officer for Nash PD said that they are investigating what has been reported to him at this time as a homicide, and that they are currently searching for the suspect James Austin Friend.

A Texas DPS helicopter spent about an hour on scene looking with no luck before having to depart due to increasing cloud cover. The Telford Prison K9 Tracking Unit was also on scene with horses and blood hounds.
