Morris Elementary 3rd graders launch weather ballon to 100,000+ feet

Morris Elementary 3rd graders recently launched a weather ballon to over 100,000 feet in their study of weather.

As part of the studies, a weather balloon was launched with a Texas Tiger and Go Pro Camera attached to the payload. Photos/Videos/Data was received for the students to use. The Tiger was airborne for 4 1/2 hours reaching a max height of 114,000 feet after which it landed in Warren, AR.

According to the the Facebook post Rendi & Josh Wiggins assisted with the project.
