A accident involving a motorcycle and a car has left the motorcycle driver dead Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred on E. 7th Street when a car driven by 18 year old Texarkana, Texas resident Peyton Glenn crossed over four lanes of traffic to make a left turn onto Laurel Drive and the motorcycle collided with the car.
According to TAPD public information officer Kristi Mitchell Glenn was cited for careless and prohibited driving.
According to police the driver of the motorcycle a 59 year old white male was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries where he later died.
