Motorcycle vs. Car Accident on University

Texarkana, Texas Police and Fire Department responded to an accident on University Ave. involving a Honda Shadow motorcycle and a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

According to Texarkana, Texas Police Spokesperson Officer Shawn Vaughn, Tyler Willett, 25, pulled into the path of Ronald King Sr, 65.  Willet was turning right from Gander Mountain’s parking lot and King was traveling south bound on University Avenue.   The motorcycle struck the Chevrolet’s left front quarter panel and king was thrown from the motorcycle to the pavement.

According to Vaughn, “Willet was cited for failure to yield, no Insurance, and no drivers license.”

King was transported to St. Michaels with non-life threatening injuries.
