Construction on a new freestanding emergency room has started on Mall Dr. near Summerhill Rd.
According to city records the new ER located at 2001 Mall Drive will be around 8,400 square feet and is being built by Neighbors Emergency Center. Estimated cost of building is around $1.5 million.
According to the Houston Based companies website they currently have 10 locations under construction in the state of Texas. They are open 24/7 and specialize in adult and pediatric emergency care.
