Texarkana, Texas Police Department arrested Damien Crooks, 35, of Texarkana, Texas Monday afternoon for multiple misdemeanor violations.
Texarkana, Arkansas detectives identified Crooks as the suspect in a package theft from the front porch of a home and were following him as he entered into Texas.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police spokesperson Shawn Vaughn, Crooks was arrested on charges for no driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, a child not in a safety seat, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $907.10.
According to Texarkana, Ark. Police Department Public Information Officer Kristi Bennett, a hold has been placed on Crooks for the package theft and they will deal with him after he deals with his Texas charges.
