PGHS’s Chris Ayers Named National Merit Scholarship Commended Student

Pleasant Grove High School senior, Chris Ayers, has been named a Commended Student in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. This prestigious honor recognizes Chris’s exceptional academic promise.

This achievement places Chris among the top-performing students who participated in the 2023 competition by taking the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying (PSAT/NMSQT®).

“Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success,” commented a spokesperson for NMSC. “These students represent a valuable natural resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.
