PGISD Names Architect to Design New Elementary School

The Pleasant Grove Board of Trustees met Monday, July 30 at 5:30 p.m. to interview three architect candidates to design the new Pleasant Grove Elementary School.

Dr. Jason Smith released a Request for Qualifications and reviewed applicants for the interview process with the Board of Trustees. Steve Elliot of Lewis Architects in Little Rock, AR was announced as the architect at the board meeting on Monday, August 6 at 5:30 p.m.

PGISD passed a $19.9 million bond on May 5, 2018 for a new elementary school, enhanced school security for all campuses, and technology infrastructure to support students and staff. The district expects to open the new elementary school in Fall 2020. The location has not been determined.
