Police Arrest 4 Men on State Line For Allegedly Firing AR-15 From Vehicle

7:15 p.m. Monday | Texarkana, Arkansas Police arrested multiple suspects that were reportedly firing an AR-15 rifle from a vehicle in the area around the 1500 block of State Line.

Police first recieved reports of multiple shots fired near 14th Street and Ash Street. According to radio traffic a caller saw a man firing an AR-15 from the front seat of a white Chevrolet Silverado truck.

A Texarkana, Arkansas officer soon reported finding shell casings in the road at 14th Street & Laurel Street.

Multiple officers from both Texas and Arkansas converged on the area looking for the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was soon spotted at the Shell Gas station in the 1500 block of N. State Line.

Officers from both Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas police departments arrested 4 suspects from the vehicle and reportedly found multiple firearms in the vehicle. One firearm appeared to be an AR-15 rifle matching what the 911 caller described.

Police have not yet released the suspects names or any charges filed. There were no reports of any injuries.
