Police on both sides of Stateline are investigating two shootings that occurred within minutes of each other Sunday morning.
Texarkana, Texas Police were first dispatched to Tri-state Motel on W. 7th Street just before noon on Sunday to reports of multiple gun shots. Moments later police were notified by Wadley Hospital that a gunshot victim had arrived at the hospital. The victim was transported in a car by friends.
Just as Texas police were arriving on scene Arkansas-side police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Beech St. on reports of a man lying it the street who had been shot in the stomach. Police arrived on scene and located the man. He was transported to a local hospital by LifeNet.
Police are currently on scene at both locations investigating. The condition of the victims is not known at this time.
