Police Release New Information Regarding Lumpkin St. Murder

TEXARKANA, TEXAS – Texarkana, Texas Police were dispatched at 6:33 PM to a residence in the 400 block of Lumpkin St. Once on scene, officers located Ralph Morrison, 33, suffering from a gunshot wound. Morrison was transported to a local hospital for treatment, however he died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation determined Morrison was visiting with the residents of 405 Lumpkin St. A black male suspect pulled up in front of the house in a light blue Chevrolet minivan with Texas Tags. The suspect exited the vehicle and began firing multiple shots at the home, striking the victim once in the head. It is believed Morrison and the suspect had a dispute with each other due to an incident from several years ago. The suspect then fled the scene in the minivan.

Detectives were able to develop a suspect, identified as Hakim Gerald Webster, 34, of Los Angeles, CA and issue a warrant for Murder. Webster is described as a black male, 5’10”, and 180 pounds. He was last seen driving a light blue Chevrolet Uplander minivan, with a Texas License plate bearing FST4968.
