QUEEN CITY, Texas – Law enforcement officials are looking for 56-year-old Leon Minniefield, who they believe shot two people and murdered one in Queen City, Texas, late Tuesday night.
“On June 24, 2014 at 10:57 p.m., the Queen City Police Department was dispatched to a residence where a shooting had occurred. Upon arrival, the department found that there were two shooting victims at the scene. One of the victims was deceased and the other was taken by helicopter to a Texarkana hospital,” according to a press release issued by Queen City Police Chief Robert McGee.
One of the deceased names is Marshantha Frank, age 27. The other victim’s name is not being released at this time to protect her privacy and safety, said McGee.
Minniefield may be driving a tan 1998, 4-door sedan, Lincoln Excalibur with paper plates. McGee asked the public to contact law enforcement immediately if Minniefield is spotted.
