TXK Today first reported back in June that Raising Cane’s was opening a restaurant in Texarkana. Now, we have learned that Raising Cane’s will be opening for business on November 20, 2014.
“We’re expanding quickly all across Texas, in big cities and small, and we’re excited to finally make it to Texarkana,” said Todd Graves, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Raising Cane’s. “We’ve had an outpouring of support from local residents eager for a Cane’s to call their own, and we’ve listened. And since our culture is rooted in the relationships we make in each community, our Crew members will be reaching out to area schools and non-profit organizations in the weeks ahead to see how they can pitch in and serve the residents of Texarkana.”
Raising Cane’s serves just one thing: fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, along with its craveable – some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
Founded by Graves in 1996 and named for his yellow Labrador, Raising Cane, the rapidly growing chain now has more than 190 locations in 18 states. Cane’s recently earned the distinction of being among the top three quick service restaurant chains in the nation for 2013, according to the authoritative Sandelman & Associates Quick-Track study, based on food quality, customer service, cleanliness and other important factors.
Texarkana’s first Raising Cane’s will be located at 2505 Richmond Road, just west of I-30 and is opening November 20, 2014.
