Small Business Saturday has joined Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the post-Thanksgiving shopping blitz. U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) encourages Arkansans to support Small Business Saturday and shop locally on Nov. 28, 2015.

“Small businesses are the engines of our economy. They employ half of the workforce in our country and make up 99 percent of all U.S. businesses. Small Business Saturday is an opportunity for us to recognize local businesses and neighborhood retailers and the important role they play in our communities. By taking the small step of shopping locally this Christmas season, we can make a big impact on our local economy,” Boozman said.

Boozman is a cosponsor of the Senate-passed resolution that designates Sat., Nov. 28, 2015 as Small Business Saturday, encourages consumers to shop locally and highlights the importance of small business to our economy.
