6:30 P.M. Monday | Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department responded to the 300 block of Senator for a residential structure fire.
The fire appeared to be confined to the attic although it did take around 45 minutes to get the smoke under control. It appeared to be caused by an electrical problem. AEP was on scene within 20 minutes to cut the power. The cause is unknown at this time.
