Texarkana, Texas- At a check presentation on Monday, Oct. 3, Sal and Aven Williamson will give $25,000 to the Texarkana College Foundation to fund a new endowed scholarship to support TC’s Presidential Scholarship program.
The presentation will take place at 2 p.m. in the Nelson Administration Building Lobby on the TC campus at 2500 N. Robison Road, Texarkana, Texas.
The Presidential Scholarship allows top graduating high school seniors to attend TC tuition-free for two years.
Both Sal and Aven Williamson are graduates of TC, and Aven was a member of the TC football team.
Aven also serves on the board of the TC Foundation and has been instrumental in helping build TC’s alumni program.
