SAU fall commencement on Dec. 11


Southern Arkansas University is scheduled to recognize 101 graduate students and 143 undergraduates during two Fall Commencement ceremonies at 5 and 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11.

SAU 2015 Honor Professor Tim Daniels will provide both commencement addresses.

The ceremonies will be in the gymnasium at the W.T. Watson Center. The 5 p.m. graduation includes students from the School of Graduate Studies and the Rankin College of Business.

The 7 p.m. ceremony will be students from the College of Education, the College of Liberal and Performing Arts and the College of Science and Engineering.

Daniels, a 1977 graduate of SAU, recently retired as associate professor and interim chair of the Department of Biology at SAU. He also served as president of the SAU Faculty Senate.
