After closing for six weeks for extensive renovations, the Texarkana, Arkansas Schlotzsky’s®, has re-opened as a Schlotzsky’s® Austin Eatery.
The Schlotzsky’s® on Arkansas Blvd, which has been locally owned and operated by Texarkana residents for more than 30 years, has re-opened as a Schlotzsky’s® Austin Eatery with a brand new look and feel and offers a variety of bold new menu additions inspired by Austin’s funky, eclectic food scene.
Schlotzsky’s® Austin Eatery is a new concept offering a fast-fine atmosphere with a nod to the beloved restaurant brand’s Austin roots. The concept features a bold and eclectic design and a variety of new menu additions. Born in Austin, Texas in 1971, Schlotzsky’s® is home to The Original® oven-baked sandwich served on sourdough buns baked fresh from scratch in-house daily. The brand’s made-to-order menu options are deeply rooted in Austin’s bold flavors and fresh ingredients – all inspired by the popular food truck scene. Schlotzsky’s® Austin Eatery serves delicious hot sandwiches on sourdough buns baked fresh each day, specialty flatbreads and pizzas, mac & cheese options, sliders, tacos, and fresh salads.
