AccuWeather Meteorologist, Anthony Sagliani says, “the pattern evolving through midweek is a classic precursor to a significant severe weather outbreak. A strong trough will collapse into the West Coast, allowing broad southwesterly flow across the Rockies on Monday and Tuesday.”

This includes Des Moines, Iowa; Chicago and Springfield, Illinois; Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield, Missouri; Topeka and Wichita, Kansas; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma; Dallas; Little Rock and Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Shreveport, Louisiana.
