The national weather service has issued a significant weather advisory for the Texarkana area until 2:45 p.m. At 2:00 a strong line of storms with winds in excess of 30 mph extended from 8 miles south of Idabel to near Ida. The weather is due to tropical storm bill.

AT 158 PM CDT… DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES SOUTH OF IDABEL TO NEAR IDA… AND MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
WINDS IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.
