January 27, 2015 | A resident left a leaf fire and returned to the nearby barn fully engulfed in flames. The incident occurred Sunday night (January 25, 2015) around 6:00 pm.
Bowie County Sheriff’s Office had a section of Highway 82 blocked off between FM 2253 and FM 3419.
A two vehicle car accident occurred in close proximity to the fire. The cars came to rest less than 100 yards away from the fire. LifeNet was on scene accessing the injuries.
