The City of Texarkana, Texas asks all small businesses participating in Small Business Saturday to register their participation to be including in marketing efforts and receive information packets from the National Small Business Saturday initiative.
The City will compile a list of all participating businesses, and promote the deals and specials on social media and through the Small Business Saturday Farmers’ Market. Small Business Saturday will be held on November 26, 2016
A proclamation recognizing Small Business Saturday was read by Mayor Bob Bruggeman at the regular council meeting on Monday, November 14, 2016.
The city encourages residents to shop small next weekend. Businesses who will be participating in Small Business Saturday should connect with the City via the event page at “Texarkana USA Small Business Saturday”.
