Storm Floods Area Roads

Texarkana area police were kept busy responding to motorists stalled in deep water on area roads Friday evening.

Heavy rains moved through the Texarkana area leaving multiple roads flooded.

As of 11:30 p.m. the water is receding on most roads and the street department has the worst ones blocked. Still use caution if on the road.

No serious injuries were reported.
