Suspect in multiple Bowie County burglaries arrested in Texarkana, Arkansas

A suspect in multiple burglaries that occurred in Bowie County over the previous few days was arrested Friday afternoon in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Area police have been searching for the white Toyota Avalon the suspect was driving since at least Thursday afternoon.  According to a be on the look out issued to area police agencies Thursday evening three subjects in the car were alleged to have been involved in  at least two burglaries and to be in possession of multiple stolen firearms.

According to radio traffic the car was spotted by Bowie County Investigators on Dooley Ferry Rd. Friday afternoon.  Bowie County Investigators in unmarked vehicles and TAPD patrol units made the final stop at the three way intersection at Dooley Ferry Rd and Mandeville Road.

No comment from police yet on any charges filed or additional suspect information.
