TAFD Removes Two From Accident on State Line Using Jaws of Life

2:30 P.M. Friday | Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to remove two occupants that were trapped inside a vehicle. Their car was pinned on one side by a sign and damage from being struck by another vehicle prevented the door from being opened on the other.

It took fire crews around 15 minutes to remove the door using hydraulic rescue tools and remove the two trapped passengers. LifeNet Took 3 people to the hospital their condition unknown, although none appeared to be critically life threatening. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
