6:00 p.m. Thursday | Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 2100 block of Ash Street. The fire dispatch indicated the home is a “vacant residence”. When fire fighters arrived on scene heavy smoke was coming from the home with flames visible.
Fire fighters quickly had the fire under control although the house did appear to suffer heavy smoke and fire damage. The cause is unknown at this time.
