TAPD Arrests Two Burglary Suspects

A neighbor called 9-1-1 at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday saying that two males forcefully entered into a residence that was unoccupied by the home owners. Texarkana ARK. Police responded to the 3300 block of Dogwood St. to a residential burglary in progress.
Detectives Shane Kirkland and Tye Whatley were in the area when the call was dispatched.
Police located two suspects running from the area, toward The Willows Apartments. After a short time, Detectives Kirkland and Whatley located John Nutte, 27, and a male juvenile, 15, along with the stolen property inside an apartment that was condemned and now vacant. Both Nutte and the juvenile were arrested for residential burglary, fleeing, theft of property over $1000 and theft of a firearm.
