TAPD is currently investigating the in custody death of 20-year-old Morgan Angerbauer of Texarkana Ark.
According to police, Angerbauer was found alone in her cell, and in what appears to be medical distress by the jail nursing staff and corrections officers shortly after 4:00 a.m. today. Efforts to revive Angerbauer were made without success.
Angerbauer has been incarcerated at the Bi-State jail since June 28th, 2016. Her body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
Pending autopsy results this investigation is ongoing.
