TexAmericas Signs Lease With New Tenant

TexAmericas Center’s Board of Directors approved a lease for a new tenant, Jackson Melons, Inc., at its board meeting on Tuesday, April 25th. Jackson Melons, Inc., headquartered in Henderson, Texas, will occupy warehouse space on TexAmericas Centers’ East Campus, consisting of 22,500 square feet. The nature of work to be performed on site is for warehousing and storage of locally grown and freshly picked watermelons. The short-term lease commences on June 1, 2017.
“We are always looking for opportunities to work with local businesses like Jackson Melons on expansion and storage opportunities,” said Eric Voyles, Executive Vice President / CEDO for TexAmericas Center, “They have a three month need and we are excited to help provide a flexible solution for this need.”

The warehouse building Jackson Melons will occupy is part of a twelve (12) building complex on TexAmericas Center’s East Campus. The complex totals 274,000sf of space at 22,500sf for each warehouse, which includes a 4,000sf office building. TexAmericas Center began leasing the property in 2016. There are currently ten (10) warehouse buildings in this complex still available for rent. TexAmericas Center offers facilities and ground at competitive lease and sales rates. In total, there is about 2.1 million square feet of building space on the east campus, about 10% is occupied. TexAmericas Center provides many real estate solutions including: Greenfield sales, retrofit services, build-to-suits– as well as land and building leases.
