TEXARKANA, TEXAS—Several city offices will operate on summer hours from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The offices will expand hours during summer months to better meet the needs of residents.
The Community Development and Planning offices will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Fire Department will operate from7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Human Resources will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday throughThursday and until 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
This new schedule will be in effect until Labor Day, Monday, September 7th, 2015 and is meant to allow citizens to conduct business before or after the normal 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. work hours.
