In a news conference Tuesday at the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce a title sponsor for the Texarkana Live United Bowl was announced.
Live United Chairman Allen Brown announced that Dean Barry has obtained the naming rights with a $75,000 3-year commitment.
Barry told the crowd that he thinks this bowl game can really be something for Texarkana. “As you know I was born and raised here, and Texarkana has been great to me and my family and I just decided I want to do something more for this,” said Barry.
According to Brown the first thing they are going to do with the money is spend $5,000 to promote the next game.
