A Texarkana, Texas, man was indicted by a Bowie County grand jury last week for allegedly enticing a 15-year-old boy to perform a sexual act.

Stacy Gamble, 55, is accused of offering to pay a teen who lived in a neighboring unit of the Riverside Crossing Apartments for sex in December and January. The first time Gamble approached the boy, he offered to give him $50 in exchange for oral sex, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The boy told a forensic interviewer at the Children’s Advocacy Center that after he did what Gamble wanted in December, Gamble told him he didn’t have the money to pay him as promised. The boy allegedly described Gamble’s apartment and bedroom.

The boy said Gamble approached him a second time in January and offered to pay him $50 for oral sex and $50 for the December incident. When Gamble failed to pay the boy a second time, the boy told his mother.

Gamble was indicted last week for two counts of sexual assault of a child. Both offenses are punishable by two to 20 years in prison. Gamble is currently being held in the Bowie County jail.
