Texarkana, Ark. Police Department responded to a murder suicide in the 3400 block of Line Ferry Rd. Saturday evening.
According to Texarkana, Ark. Police spokesperson Officer Kristi Bennett, “at 6:40 p.m. TAPD responded to the 3400 block of Line Ferry Rd. to a shooting. Officers arrived and located the homeowners both deceased inside the residence.”
According to Mitchell, investigation has revealed the elderly man shot his elderly wife before shooting himself.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family involved in this tragic situation,” said Bennett.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the couple.
