Texarkana Panthers Play #28th Ranked Jackson Showboats on Sunday

TEXARKANA, USA (Monday, December 29, 2014) | The Texarkana Panthers today announced their upcoming weekend game with the Jackson Showboats. The Panthers travel on Sunday to play the number 28th ranked ABA team in the Jackson Showboats in Jackson, MS. The last meeting between the two on December 13th results in a loss for the Panthers. Justin Stuart, a former SAU Mulerider, lead the Panthers with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals. Justin leads the team in points, rebounds, and steals per game. Mr. Stuart was selected as an alternate in the 2013-14 All-Star game. The game between the Showboats will test the overall health of the Panthers with several players coming off of minor injuries in which all is set to play except Edwin Ward who is out for the season. A win against the Showboats will put the Panthers in line to becoming ranked in the ABA Power Ranking. The game on Sunday will start at 3 pm at the Kurts Gymnasium.
