Texarkana Woman Killed in Pedestrian Hit & Run Accident in Shreveport

According to KTBS news Melba J. Robinson, 71, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died at the scene from injuries sustained after being struck by a 1994 Mazda sedan driven by Raphell A. Rogers, 27 of Shreveport.

According to Shreveport Police, investigators arrested Rogers after he returned to the scene of the accident. He is charged with hit and run, no insurance, and having an expired driver’s license.
