Texas High School Culinary Arts and Commercial Baking Students Advance in the SkillsUSA Texas State Leadership & Skills Competition

Four Texas High School Culinary Arts and Commercial Baking students are now advancing to the SkillsUSA Texas State Leadership & Skills Competition given their Top Three placements during the February 9-10 District competition in Waco, TX.  The Skills USA District 5 is made up of 28 counties in the East Texas area.

 

For Culinary Arts, all Top Three students awarded were from Texas High School.  They include:  Shaderrika Sanders – First Place; Deavyon Ross – Second Place; Aniyah Azille – Third Place.  In Commercial Baking, Moncey Martinez finished at Third Place.  Students are coached by Cory House and Janna Carr.

 

The SkillUsUSA Texas State Leadership & Skills State Competition will be on April 5 – 8 in Corpus Christie, TX.
