Texarkana, TX – Texas High School Interscholastic League Academic Team members brought home seven individual awards during March UIL Academic Meets.
For the March 5 UIL Academic Meet in Colleyville, Texas in the Informative Speaking competition, Robin Cooper took 3rd Place; and Sidney McGough, 6th Place. In the competition for Persuasive Speaking, Jillian Cheney was awarded 3rd Place.
At the March 19 competition in Emory, Texas, in the Informative Speaking category Sidney McGough won 3rd Place and Robin Cooper, 4th Place.
In the Lincoln Douglas Debate, Robin Cooper placed 5th Place and in Persuasive Speaking, Caleb Snow was awarded 2nd Place.
All students were coached by Amy Kemp.
