The Texas Middle School 7th and 8th Grade bands received high ratings during the recent University Interscholastic League (UIL) Concert Contest on April 12 – 13 in Texarkana, Texas.
The 7th Grade Band, under the direction of John Killgo, received a Division II Excellent Rating for Stage Performance.
The 8th Grade Band, directed by Kara Compton, received Division I Superior Ratings for Stage Performance and Sight Reading.
