The CALL Hosts ‘Pickleball for a Purpose’ Oct. 31 to Support Foster Care in Arkansas

The CALL of Miller County will host “Pickleball for a Purpose,” a charity pickleball tournament supporting foster care in Arkansas, on Halloween — Saturday, October 31, 2026 — from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Southwest Center in Texarkana, Texas.

Registration costs $50 per team and can be completed via the QR code on the event flyer below. The day will feature food trucks, local vendors, and prizes, with H&K Electric Inc. serving as the presenting sponsor.

The CALL in Miller County currently has 11 open foster homes. The organization exists to mobilize the local church to care for children and families impacted by foster care, recruiting, training, and supporting foster families from churches in Miller County and equipping them to love and care for the children, youth, and families affected by foster care.

The CALL also operates The Call Mall, which provides foster families and children with all the necessary clothing, shoes, toiletries, and even toys for their stay in foster care. This is all made possible through donations from the community and fundraisers such as Pickleball for a Purpose and The CALL’s annual gala, which will be held in February 2027.
