Trinity Christian School’s 3rd annual Mud Trek Happening This Weekend

Trinity Christian School is sponsoring the area’s third annual charity mud run this Saturday, April 25, 2015, next to Grady T. Wallace Park in Texarkana, Texas. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. The first wave of runners will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by a new wave every 30 minutes until 12:00 p.m. The family friendly, mud covered 5K course contains 13 + fun and challenging obstacles winding through woods, fields, and mud pits. We also host a “mini mud-run” beginning at 9:15 a.m for children ages 6 to 12 years old. The mini mud-run includes a separate course containing 8 obstacles and tons of mud. This area will not be timed allowing kids to run through the course multiple times ensuring an extra muddy time!

Online registration ends at midnight on Wednesday, April 22 for both the adult and kids course. Event Day registration will be offered to any last minute participants (Cash Only). Spectators are encouraged to attend too. Parking will be free and spectators can enter the event for $5 each, with children 4 and under attending for free. Big Jake’s BBQ will beat the Mud Trek serving up both BBQ sandwiches or hot dogs, chips, and a can drink, cost is $5. Kona Ice will be serving shaved ice for a minimal fee.
