TEXARKANA, Texas–Texarkana, Texas Police arrested a pair of suspects on June 11th, 2014 at approximately 10pm for possession of Marijuana over 5 pounds but under 50 pounds.
On June 11th, 2014 at approximately 9:15pm, Officer Kody Edwards performed a traffic stop, on a white Chevrolet Suburban that did not have any taillights on, at South Lake Drive and Findley St. Officer Edwards detected an odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Officer Alan Bailey arrived to assist with the investigation. Officers Edwards and Bailey found a little over 5 pounds of suspected Marijuana in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Brandon Jefferson, 24, of Texarkana, Texas and the front seat passenger, Lagarrous Glover, 23, of Texarkana, Arkansas were arrested for Possession of Marijuana over 5 pounds but less than 50 pounds which is a 3rd degree felony.
