January 22, 2105, Hope, Arkansas | The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope and Texarkana is seeking input from its service area residents on the selection of a mascot for the campuses.  An online survey will allow individuals to provide their vote for one of the final four options selected by a campus committee or to provide an additional mascot suggestion by completing the survey at www.UACCH.edu  or on the UACCH Facebook page.

The campus recently conducted a survey on campus of faculty, staff, and students for ideas for a mascot.  Those suggestions have been narrowed down to four choices by a mascot committee made up of members of campus clubs, faculty and staff members.

“With the development of the U of A Hope-Texarkana Shooting Sports Team last fall and their scheduled collegiate competitions that are scheduled to begin this spring, we thought it was time to develop a mascot for the campuses and for our collegiate sports team,” said Chancellor Chris Thomason.

Vote for your mascot choice for U of A Hope-Texarkana online at www.uacch.edu; the survey will close January 31.
